Bowling is a great summer activity! It’s indoors, so no worry about hot, rainy, or otherwise unpleasant days. With the Kids Bowl Free program, your child receives 2 free games daily! Age limit for the kids bowl free program is set by the bowling center. Your only cost is the shoe rental fee.There is also a family pass available. For $24.95, 4 adults can bowl 2 games along with the kids all summer long! While the Family Pass is good for 4 adults, all 4 don’t need to be present every time you go bowling. This family fun investment is only a one-time payment of $24.95.
Regal Cinemas– The 2014 Summer Movie Express runs for 9 weeks with select titles playing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer. Please see your local theatre for program start date. Admission to these films during the Summer Movie Express is only $1.
Cinemark– Several discount programs are available, including $1 admission for parties of 3 or more in their Reel Family Time every Monday.
Check your local, independent theaters as well. Ours offers free movies all summer as well.
Home Depot Kid’s Workshops are held on the first Saturday of each month. Hours are between 9 a.m. and noon. Each workshop features a different project. Your child will receive an apron, along with a pin for each completed project. These workshops are for children ages 5-12.
Lowe’s Build and Grow Workshops are offered every Saturday. These workshops are for children in grades 1 through 5. Online registration is strongly encouraged to reserve your child’s spot. Build a wooden project, and get an apron, patch, and more.
Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program awards a free book to your child when they bring in a completed log showing they have read 8 books! *For kids in grades 1-6
Half Price Books awards HPB Bookwork Bucks once you turn in your log showing that you’ve read for at least 15 minutes each day (grown ups may read aloud to kids who are still learning to read). * For kids 14 and under
Michael’s Craft Stores offers their Passport to Imagination program beginning in June. Your child will journey through seven museums across North America. Adventures begin in June. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Just $2 per child ages 3 and up. All supplies included.
