Welcome spring with a clean home. Here is a printable checklist to help you make quick work of this job!

The job of spring cleaning has never been a favorite of mine. By this point in the year, I’m done being cooped up inside. And, I’ve spent a good deal of time cleaning up mud and dirty floors from the late winter rains (we don’t get much snow here in our part of Tennessee.)
If you’re like me and are not a super spring cleaning fan, we can tackle this job together. Everything is more fun with a friend, right?! With checklists to motivate us, we can begin crossing off those to-do’s and get this job done.
I don’t advocate doing it all in one day unless you are super motivated. I generally complete or two rooms, then take a day or two break.
Typically, cleaning one room adds a bit of work to another. For example, when I clean the laundry room (which is also our mudroom), I find that I’ve added shoes, heavy jackets, and the like to the bedroom to be dealt with when I get to that room. Instead of moving an item from one room to another, try to complete the task.
For example, instead of moving the heavy jackets to the bedroom to be packed away with the winter clothes, go ahead and get the winter clothes box out and place the heavy jackets into it. When you get to the bedroom, the winter clothes box will already be out and ready to fill.
I’ve created a printable checklist packet for you. Print this packet out, add your extras that I may have missed, and enjoy crossing those items off of each list!
