Snacking can be a downfall for any healthy eating program. For me, I tend to crave crunchy foods for snacking. A quick look around the grocery store shelves reveals a severe lack of convenient, yet better for you choices.
My family and I had the pleasure of trying Sensible Portions Puffs last week. I can honestly say, these will be on our snacking menu! It’s nice to be able to grab a bag from the shelf, knowing that the snack is GMO-Free, gluten free, made with organic corn. They also do not contain any artificial flavors or preservatives!
We like to take snack foods when we are on the go. With summer coming quickly, that will mean swimming at the creek, picnics at the park, and trips to the Amish produce auction. While packing a lunch, it’s nice to grab a bag of Puffs to eat along with our other food choices.
Adding healthy choices like cut-up cheese, pepperoni, cut-up fruits & veggies, the crunch of Puffs makes a nice lunch. I have to admit, also, that my children typically have homemade foods and they like to have a store-bought treat every now and then. I like the option of Puffs for them, it satisfies my healthier choice need with their desire for a “goodie.”
We really enjoyed all of the flavors:
Cheddar
Sour Cream & Onion
Veggie
Tomato Basil
Want to give Sensible Portions Puffs a try? They can be found at your local WalMart in the snack food aisle.
I’m also hosting a giveaway for one bag of each flavor! Simply leave me a comment with your favorite snack choice below!

My kids like snap pea snacks. I want to try the Tomato Basil flavor of these snacks.
I like apple slices and pretzels as a snack. I would like to try the Sour Cream and Onion!
Our go to snack is popcorn that we pop on the stove. Or the ginormous bags of pretzels from Costco. I would love to win these flavored ones. I’m sure the kiddos would love a change.
I love crackers and cheese for a snack. I would like to try the sour cream and onion ones of these!
Having Celiac’s Disease, finding gluten free, healthy snacks is a time consuming, expensive endeavor. I usually end up trying to make things myself, but would love to win a healthy, gluten free alternative.
Is bacon a snack? 😉
I would like to try the cheddar or sour cream and onion flavor.
We like the veggie straws, but would love to try the sour cream and onion.
.
I haven’t heard of these. Popcorn is our snack of choice, but I’m thinking I’ll be looking for these this weekend when I go grocery shopping. I’d love to try the Cheddar and Sour Cream and Onion flavors.
my crew loves food in general but would probably go for the cheddar most.
we love to eat popcorn at night around the TV…. I’d like to try these snacks….. Maybe the Cheddar ones.
I usually eat snack cakes or crackers for amid-afternoon snack.
We like to snack on fresh veggies or rice cakes. I’ll be adding these to my list!
In the hot part of the summer we love frozen grapes or blueberries. We just freeze them on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper, then keep them in a ziploc. Easy to just pop them in your mouth for a yummy cold snack. These look lovely. Would love to try a bag.
I’ve had frozen blueberries, but have never had frozen grapes. That sounds perfect! I’ll be trying that!
Thank you!
