When you want a snack, you usually want to get it quickly. Not some long, drawn-out kitchen time. Something satisfying yet simple to create. With summer coming soon, everyone will be looking for simple snacks that don’t require a lot of kitchen time. These ideas are perfect- filling, yet easy to make.
That’s what this post is all about. Satisfying yet simple snacks. This past year has been a difficult one, to say the least. I used to enjoy spending many hours in the kitchen creating dishes. Today, however, I tend to prefer to get in the kitchen and get out.
I’ve also gained quite a bit of weight over the past year. It’s time to make some changes to get that weight off. I have found a few quick and easy to make snacks that are also helpful to my weight loss efforts.

These snacks are great for lunch, snacks, game time, or even supper. Thinking outside of the box, I use these flatouts for more than just sandwiches, though those are pretty tasty!

The Italian Herb Flatouts are the perfect base for pizza bites.

Spread a layer of cream cheese onto the Flat Out, then a layer of pizza sauce.

Add shredded cheese and your desired toppings.

After making those, I thought of the Garlic Cheese Pizza that I have made a few times, which led to Garlic Cheese bites. YUM! They are so simple to throw together and cook in no time in the air fryer. Using the air fryer means not heating up the kitchen and no time wasted waiting for it to heat up!

Spread a layer of softened cream cheese onto the Italian Herb Flat Out.

Add minced garlic and spread to the edges of the Flat Out.

Add shredded Parmesan cheese and a bit of seasonings. Bake them in the air fryer, slice, and enjoy!
The Ranch Chicken Salad rollups are yummy bits of deliciousness. They just are. Trust me. 🙂

Mix the Ranch chicken salad dressing ingredients together, then stir in chopped cooked chicken breast (I make mine quickly in the Instant Pot!) and shredded cheese.

Spread the Ranch Chicken Salad over the Flat Out and roll up, then slice into bites. Yum!

By purchasing the 100 calorie packs of popcorn, I can have a treat, but not overdo it. The package is large enough to satisfy my craving but small enough to be only 100 calories!

Hearkening back to my childhood, these fudge bars are the perfect dessert, especially with summer quickly approaching!

To round out our snacks, nothing beats a good old-fashioned fudge bar! This one is Weight Watchers approved so I can have one without feeling like I’m overindulging.
Below you will find printable cards for each of these simple snacks. Feel free to adjust to your tastes. If you love something other than pepperoni on your pizza, add it! If you like to add something else to your chicken salad, add it! Honestly, my usual chicken salad has pecans and grapes in it, but we didn’t have any on hand, so we left them out and added shredded cheese.
