{A huge thank you to Anchored Press for providing me one of their beautiful planners to try out and review.}
It’s no secret that I love planners. Office supplies, school supplies, journals, devotionals, planners, etc . . . I love it all. So much so that my husband and I totally overhauled a former bedroom to make a planner/craft room for me that also doubles as my office.
In my quest for “planner peace,” I have tried several planners. Recently, I was sent an Anchored Press Planner to try out.

My thoughts on this Journal, Planner, Devotional in One-
Right off the bat, I liked this planner. It is brightly colored with big boxes to write in. It has a hard cover, which makes writing in it anywhere a breeze.
It has a pocket inside the front cover. And, it has thick paper! No shadowing or bleed through when I use my favorite pens.
I love this My First Four section! Our to do lists can be SO very long. This helps me see what is truly the absolute first four things I need to accomplish each day. And the reminder of what I have planned for supper is great!
Even with all of those positives, I have one more. This is the best one, I believe. It’s what makes this planner more than a planner. There are Bible verses on each day’s page, along with tidbits of wisdom. These help me take the focus of “what is on my to do list” to “what is most important.” Those two lists could be very different. 😉
At the end of each month, there is a prayer requests & notes page. Have you ever told someone you’d keep them in prayer, only to not have a place to record this info? This page solves that problem.
So, you may ask, with all of the planners that I have, what will I use this planner for? My plan for this one is to be my prayer journal, devotional, and war binder. It will be a place to record everything BUT my to do list. I will make this one a keepsake journal.
I have already found that this is the first planner that I reach for at the beginning and end of the day. I have another planner to tell me what is on my to do list. This one helps me focus on what’s most important for the day ahead, and to record what I want to remember down the road.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the new 2017 Anchored Press Planners! They will be released in late August. Thanks to this year’s success, there will be an expanded product line- 2 formats, more color options and a separate prayer journal. One of the planners has 52 devotionals, 1 for each week written by some amazing women of God such as Christine Caine and Jenni Catron.
