One of the most versatile cuts of meat is the boneless, skinless chicken breast. With a few additional ingredients, you can transform this blank slate into so very many different dishes.
I stock up on boneless, skinless chicken breasts when I find a sale. They freeze easily. For ease of use, I trim the fat and place each breast into an individual zip-top baggie. Once frozen, the bags take up little space.
Thawing the frozen chicken breasts takes little time. I fill the sink (or a bowl, if I’m thawing just one) with cold water and place the baggie into the water. Within 30 minutes or so, I have a chicken breast ready to cook.
Of course, if the recipe I’m making utilizes the Instant Pot, there’s no thawing necessary!
I’ll update this page as I add more chicken recipes.
