Every morning during the work week, I get 5 blinks and 3 beeps.
The 5 blinks come from my Honey. 5 is our number. It was the day of our first date. It was the day we married. It is the number of children we conceived. It’s our number.
So, as he drives out the driveway, he blinks the brake lights 5 times to me. In return, I flash the porch light 5 times to him.
The 3 beeps come from Rebecca. When she gets to the road, I hear 3 beeps.
I look forward to both of these little good-byes each morning.

What a cute tradition! Love it!!
I DO have a tradition with both my children!! Whenever I want to tell them I love them … and yet not embarrass them in front of their friends because how cool of a mom would that be 🙂 … I use my fingers to count 1-4-3 (meaning I love you).
