It sounds cheesy, but a man and his vehicle are happy together. My hubby is no exception. He has had many vehicles over the years, and has given up the “toys” for family practicality these days. The first year were married, he sold tires from his Jeep to buy me a sewing machine. Another year, he had to sell his beloved ’69 Mustang Fastback to pay the self-employment taxes from our lawn care business. Today? Well, today, he drives a Toyota Camry, while I drive our Suburban that we’ve owned since 1997. The other vehicle in our “fleet” is a Jeep Cherokee that we purchased a few years ago when our eldest child graduated and was ready to go off to cosmetology school.
While my hubby appreciates fast, fun cars, his practical side wins out and we drive dependable vehicles. He’s our Mr. Steady and Dependable, always putting the needs of his family above all. The last time he washed and cleaned his car it was because the girls and I were going to go to a party and he wanted it to be clean for us.
When we saw this Armor All car care bucket at WalMart, our daughters and I decided to buy it for him to have one bucket filled with all the car care products he’d need. Our intention was to wash his car for him as a surprise.
As happens when you live in a small house with lots of people, surprises don’t always remain a secret. My hubby found out about this bucket, and our intended surprise. He asked us to use the products on the Cherokee, not on his car. That’s my Honey, always thinking of his children and putting their needs first.
He also helped with the car wash, because that’s just who he is.
He was pleasantly surprised to find all of the car care products included in this bucket-
- Armor All Orange Bucket with Lid
- Armor All Extreme Tire Shine
- Armor All Original Pump 10oz
- Armor All Ultra Shine Wash & Wax
- Armor All Cleaning Wipes
- Armor All Glass Wipes
- Armor All Quick Silver Wheel & Tire Cleaner
- Armor All Towel
- Armor All Pro Tips Booklet
The bucket is the perfect size for car washing. You know, some buckets are just so deep that it’s hard to find the bottom when you’re searching for the wash rag. This bucket is deep enough to hold the soapy water for the wash, but not too deep. The Quick Silver Wheel and Tire Cleaner was his favorite product. Simply spray it onto dry wheels & tires, then wash away. Trust me, the Jeep needed that part of this cleaning badly! Mary’s favorite item was the glass wipes. No squirting a bunch of window cleaner, only to have it run down the glass and make a mess on the dash. Quick and simple cleaning with both the glass wipes and the all-purpose cleaning wipes.
The Jeep hasn’t looked this good since Honey repaired it for the third time (1 accident, 2 deer collisions). Let’s hope it doesn’t take another accident for it to look this good again!
To help you with your car cleaning day, Natalie has created a cute free printable for you!
What about you? Is your hubby a car guy? Does he lovingly wash his car often? Or, is he like mine and spends his time doing for the rest of the family, and not get around to his car? I’d love to hear your Dad stories as we celebrate his special day this month!
