In one month, I will celebrate my one-year Plexus anniversary, or my Plexiversary as we like to call them.
I know that I FEEL oh so much better. What I didn’t realize was just how much better I LOOK.
My daughters kept telling me that I needed a new headshot for my social media pages. I am also going to attend a blogging conference later this month and wanted to have updated business cards. So, my sweet Natalie took several photos of me. This is not something that I completely enjoy doing, this being in front of the camera. But, I am trying to erase negative thoughts, mostly about my appearance, from my mind.
Was I ever surprised to see the new photo! What surprised me even more was when Natalie made a side-by-side photo of my headshot from last year at this time and this photo. What a difference!
A Picture Says a Thousand Words
My weight hasn’t changed dramatically. What has changed dramatically is my appearance. I am smaller in many areas of my body. I’m also more confident and self-assured. I’m stronger, emotionally and physically. Emotionally from facing some big challenges head-on and conquering them, and physically from going to the gym 3 days per week for the past 4 months.
I believe that my Plexus products has allowed me to lose inches, while healing my gut. This healing of my gut has rid me of daily headaches, lack of sleep (you know, go to sleep, wake up 2 hours later and be unable to sleep the rest of the night?!), lack of energy, and a general feeling of malaise. I now sleep through the night, have NO headaches, have no bloating, have tons of energy, and feel great. The only difference was adding in our Plexus Tri-Plex for the past year.
It didn’t happen overnight. I’m not through with this phase of my journey to fitness. But, it IS happening.
About four months ago, I began going to the gym and working out. My husband has been faithfully going to the gym since we bought a membership five years ago. Me? Well, I went for months, then gave up and quit going. That’s a post for another day, but I’m happy to say that I’ve been following a workout program and get to the gym three days per week, barring any extenuating circumstance.
Stick with the changes that you make. The results don’t happen overnight, just like the unhealthy me didn’t happen overnight. But, it does work and you do improve.
